Dear Saturday School Parents,
Good afternoon and welcome to week eight of the SMIS-English Saturday School summer term. It is hard to believe the term is over half way through- all of the students have learned so much in such a short time! I hope you and your children are having an amazing week and that your children are excited about coming to Saturday School this week.
This week there are a few reminders. First, although highly unlikely, if there is a Keiho in Kobe at 07:00 on Saturday morning I will send an email to all parents to inform them that Saturday School will be cancelled. Again, I do not anticipate this, but if there is severe weather on Saturday morning please check your email before leaving for Saturday School. Also, many parents have asked if it is okay if students occasionally arrive late to or leave early from Saturday School when their child has a conflicting activity. If your child will arrive late or needs to leave early it is fine, just let me know so I can inform the class teacher. Finally, I want to remind you that there are still openings in all classes for the SMIS-English Kids Summer School 2023. The SMIS-English Kids Summer School is the perfect way for students to keep up their English over the summer in a challenging but enjoyable English immersion environment.
Thank you for choosing to have your child be a part of the SMIS-English Saturday School and for all of the kind and encouraging comments you have sent about the teachers and programme. It is a joy to see so many happy faces every Saturday morning and to be a part of your child’s English education.
Best regards,
