KSS - Kids Summer School Curriculum

The SMIS-English Kids Summer School offers a dynamic learning experience that blends academic English instruction with hands-on, experiential learning. Our carefully designed curriculum engages children through age-appropriate activities that strengthen reading, writing, grammar, speaking, listening, and overall English communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Each day begins with focused academic English lessons built around the theme “Our Wonderful World.” Through this theme, students explore global topics while developing essential grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. Learning is supported by a balanced mix of textbooks, worksheets, group work, and pair activities, allowing students to immediately apply new language in practical ways while improving their listening and speaking confidence.

English literacy sits at the heart of the Summer School programme. To deepen students’ understanding and help language come alive, academic lessons are reinforced through P.E., Music, Reading & Activities, and Art classes. These sessions give children multiple opportunities to use English naturally as they move, create, collaborate, and communicate with their peers in different settings.
